Welcome to Holly B —where homemade meals, family traditions, and cozy home inspiration come together.
 HOlly B.

Let’s get one thing straight—Taco Tuesday isn’t just about the tacos. It’s about the vibe. The flavor. The celebration of good food and even better drinks.

And while chips, salsa, and guac are a given, what really makes the whole meal sing? A cold, stunning margarita.

As the weekend rolls in and the sun hangs around a little longer, I’ve got just the drink to help you kick off the season: The Coconut Lavender Margarita—aka a floral, creamy dream in a glass.

Now, I’ve always adored the scent of lavender—fresh, calming, nostalgic. But using it in a cocktail? I was skeptical. Until I tried it. And now? It’s my go-to. This margarita is lightly floral, perfectly sweet, and beautifully balanced with a tropical coconut twist that makes it unforgettable.

Whether you’re serving up tacos for a crowd or just want to toast to warmer weather with something gorgeous in hand—this is your drink.

Coconut Lavender Margarita Recipe

You’ll Need:

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur (like Grand Marnier)
  • 1 oz lavender syrup
  • 1 oz cream of coconut
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt for the rim (I love using pink Himalayan sea salt!)

Instructions:

  1. Rim your glass with a lime wedge, then dip it into salt to coat the edge.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lavender syrup, cream of coconut, lime juice, and orange liqueur.
  3. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds (aka shake it like it’s Friday at 5).
  4. Strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice.
  5. Sip, smile, and repeat.

This cocktail is basically summer in a glass—with a tropical hug and a floral kiss. Cheers to warm nights, pretty drinks, and always saying yes to margaritas—especially the unexpected ones.

Have you ever tried lavender in a cocktail?
