“Mom, can we have that pasta again for dinner?”
It’s the question I now hear on repeat—and honestly? I don’t blame them.

This creamy, crave-worthy Chile Crisp Alfredo Pasta has officially earned VIP status at our dinner table. It all started when my daughter stumbled across a viral TikTok video showcasing a super simple, spicy pasta dish. We gave it a go, and now… we’re obsessed.

No chopping. No fuss. Just a silky, rich Alfredo-style sauce with a kick of chile crisp, tossed with ditalini pasta that soaks up every delicious drop. The best part? It’s ready in under 30 minutes. 🙌

Whether you’re feeding a hungry family, impressing a date, or just craving something cozy and carby—this recipe checks every box. It’s meatless, magical, and makes just enough mess to prove you cooked but not enough to ruin your night.

Not into heat? Leave out the chili crisp, and you still get a buttery, garlicky, cheesy pasta that’s chef’s kiss good.

Let’s make it!

CHILE CRISP ALFREDO PASTA (TikTok Viral Recipe!)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups ditalini pasta (or any small pasta you love)
  • 2–3 cups chicken broth
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic chili crisp (optional but highly recommended)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan, plus more for topping
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Where to find chili crisp: Check the Asian foods aisle of your local grocery store, or peek at my Faves Highlight on Instagram for my go-to brands!

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add pasta directly to the pan and stir to coat it in the oil.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth until the pasta is just covered. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. While the pasta simmers, add in the heavy cream. Let everything bubble away until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the pasta is tender.
  5. Turn off the heat, then stir in the butter, chili crisp (if using), Parmesan, and parsley.
  6. Taste, season with salt and pepper, and serve with a sprinkle of extra cheese on top.

FAQs

Can I make this vegetarian?
Absolutely! Just swap the chicken broth for vegetable broth.

Is this good for meal prep?
Yes, but it’s best fresh. If you do prep ahead, add a splash of cream or broth when reheating.

What’s the best pasta shape to use?
I love ditalini because it’s small and absorbs all that creamy goodness, but elbow macaroni or small shells work great too.

Whether you’re team “mild and creamy” or all in on the chile crisp spice, this easy Alfredo pasta recipe is guaranteed to become a regular in your rotation.
